Himanshu Jasuja, Ph.D.

B.Tech., 2010, Chemical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras), Chennai, India
Ph.D., 2014, Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia

Himanshu was born and brought up in Rajasthan, India. Right from school, he has consistently displayed a keen interest in Physical Sciences and Mathematics. After high school, he decided to join the engineering stream, an option in line with his interests. He received his B.Tech. degree from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India. His penchant for research, developed through courses, projects and interactions with some inspirational faculty at the undergraduate level, led him to Georgia Institute of Technology to pursue a PhD in Chemical Engineering. In the long run, he aspires to be a researcher, using his core strengths to solve challenging engineering problems and continuing to nurture his long cherished fascination for science. His current research focus in the group is on the nano-structured metal oxides and metal organic frameworks (MOFs) for air purification.
